According to Paulo Freire, the "Viable Unknown" (Inédito Viável) represents the untested but achievable possibilities that emerge when individuals critically engage with their reality, envision transformative alternatives and commit to collective action to bring about change.

VIABLE UNKNOWNS:
Sustainable and Inclusive Coexistence in the City
This project is a bold exploration of sustainable coexistence in European urban spaces, blending participatory theatre with community-driven transformation.
Inspired by Paulo Freire’s concept of "viable unknowns"—the untried but achievable futures— VIABLE UNKNOWNS seeks to co-create innovative, inclusive narratives that reshape the way we live together.
The project involves 5 partners in 4 countries:
La Xixa (coordinator) and the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) from Spain, Cantieri Meticci from Italy, gruppe tag e.V from Germany and Grotowski Institute from Poland.
